Hunting & Fishing License
In Alabama, hunting and fishing licenses are required for most outdoor recreational activities involving game or freshwater fish. These licenses help support wildlife conservation and natural resource protection throughout the state.
Who Needs a License?

Residents and non-residents age 16 and older must have a valid license to hunt or fish.

Alabama residents aged 65 and older are exempt but must carry valid proof of age and residency in Alabama.

Youth under 16 are not required to purchase a license.
